We battle the commercial sex trafficking of children and young adults in Tijuana, Mexico. We are dedicated to ensuring that traffickers are held accountable for their actions, while also providing compassionate care for those who have been rescued. Additionally, we believe that education is key in preventing future instances of trafficking and creating safer communities for all.
HOW WE FIGHT
Light of the Moon has partnered with a highly acclaimed anti-trafficking organization in Tijuana, Mexico. Our partner has been dedicated to bringing perpetrators to justice, rescuing and caring for victims, and educating the community and professionals to expose sex trafficking since 2013.
LOTM comes alongside this organization by specifically providing funds for the expenses of their Safe House in Tijuana. The Safe House is a refuge for girls and young women rescued from sex trafficking. Our assistance in funding the Safe House frees up resources for their other anti-trafficking efforts.
